spa I. PLANT CHARACTERISTICS

The snake plant grows in clumps with 5 - 6 leaves, growing straight upward, narrow, thick, and tapering to a point at the tip, with a sheath at the base that wraps around the stem and wavy edges. The leaves are shiny green with irregular dark horizontal stripes, thick and fleshy, with two yellow bands running from the base to the tip of the leaf.

The snake plant grows quickly, thrives in bright light or tolerates partial shade, and is ideal as a desk plant or indoor decorative plant. It can be propagated by dividing clumps and is very easy to grow.

agriculture II. GROWING AND CARE TECHNIQUES

1. Light

During the plant's growing period, it should receive moderate light. Avoid placing it in deep shade for too long or exposing it to direct sunlight — otherwise the leaves will curl or change color.

2. Temperature

The snake plant grows best at temperatures above 18°C. When the temperature drops below 10°C, find a safe method to keep the plant warm. The plant usually blooms in January and February.

3. Fertilizing

In spring and summer, the snake plant grows quite quickly — add a small amount of diluted organic fertilizer. In late autumn and winter, reduce the amount of fertilizer and keep the potting soil slightly dry.
