spa I. PLANT CHARACTERISTICS

African Daisy originally comes from South Africa. It is also known as Sun Flower and Star Daisy. Its shape resembles a miniature sunflower — a herbaceous perennial that lives for many years.

In bright sunlight and moderate temperatures, it can bloom continuously throughout the year. Because this daisy comes in many colors with single, double, or thin petals, it is quite eye-catching.

agriculture II. GROWING AND CARE TECHNIQUES

1. Temperature

African Daisy grows best at 20-25°C and has medium cold tolerance. When the temperature drops below 10°C, it stops growing, but it can survive briefly below 0°C. If the cold period is prolonged, find appropriate measures such as bringing the plant indoors, placing it in a warm room, or covering it with a plastic bag.

2. Humidity

Water every 3-4 days in summer, and every half month in winter. Because African Daisy prefers a dry environment, do not use a spray nozzle to increase humidity — especially when the plant is blooming, as water on the petals can easily cause black spots. When the leaves are growing densely, contact with water can also lead to disease.

3. Fertilizing

African Daisy has fibrous roots and requires a large amount of fertilizer. In spring, when applying complex fertilizer, the N-P-K ratio should be 15:18:25 respectively. Stop fertilizing in summer and winter.
