spa I. PLANT CHARACTERISTICS

Cyclamen is a perennial herbaceous plant originating from the Mediterranean, symbolizing the rebirth of love.

Each plant typically produces 1-2 flower stems, with each stem bearing 20-30 small funnel-shaped blooms. Cyclamen flowers come in a wide variety of colors including red, blue, white, and more.

agriculture II. GROWING AND CARE TECHNIQUES

1. Temperature

The cyclamen corm develops its root system fully at 2-6°C. During the sprouting stage, the corm requires a temperature of 5-10°C. Leaf growth occurs optimally at 10-20°C. The ideal temperature for blooming is 15-18°C, while 25°C is the best temperature for corm storage.

2. Humidity

Cyclamen prefers to grow in warm and moist conditions. When watering, wait until the soil is completely dry before watering again. If growing in water, do not submerge the roots completely — leave part of the roots exposed to absorb air.

3. Fertilizing

The cyclamen corm contains sufficient nutrients for growth, so heavy fertilizing is generally not necessary. Simply add one application of phosphate fertilizer and potassium fertilizer just before the sprouts emerge from the soil.
